Our Mission
The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to nurture children into a loving and serving relationship with Jesus Christ!
Our Vision
Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God’s children, parents are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Churches have a responsibility toward children, too. We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through a Children’s Ministry program. We are Working, Inspiring, Leading and Directing our children towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We all have a responsibility to lead children in the ways of the Lord. We also desire to teach values that will help them grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
Our Purpose
Our Children’s Ministry at Rogers Memorial Baptist Church is for children to learn how much Jesus loves them, that God’s Word is true and church is a safe and joyful place. At RMBC, one of our core values is Bible Engagement. We believe our families should be on the same page when it comes to studying the Scriptures. Therefore, all age groups will track together in an age appropriate format regarding the study of God’s Word.
Our Goals
To teach truths from God’s Word in a creative and meaningful way.
To provide an atmosphere of mission and fellowship, fostering a team-like spirit among volunteers.
To partner with parents through teaching, prayer, and fellowship.
