    The purpose of the Music Ministry is to exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship. Members of the Music Ministry are faithful members of the Church who strive to live according to God’s will. The ministry shares the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs that encourage believers in their walk with Christ.
    The music ministry’s goal is to lead our congregation into celebratory and intimate worship and to provide an avenue through which individuals may share their God-given gifts and talents. We believe that music has a huge impact in the overall worship experience. Music is a very expressive, transparent, heartfelt way to express exactly what the heart want to say to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
    The components of the music ministry are the Combined Choir, Male Chorus and Children’s Choir.

  • Our Mission is to create a culture that embraces dance as a form of praise and worship that encourages spiritual development, character building, and community service using God-given potential, gifts, and talents. The ministry hopes to capture, nurture, mentor, and empower every dancer to give God their best praise and worship.
    Our Purpose is to enrich the lives of all members to cultivate a way to honor the body, mind, and spirit to develop a personal relationship with God to create a safe haven united in love, compassion, and support to grow personally and spiritually to offer dance as a gift to our congregants, ministries, and community.
    Our Vision is to make every dancer a worship warrior — to war with their hands and their feet, and to fight with their fingers and toes to deliver God’s message of love, salvation, healing, encouragement, and deliverance — vessels that prove that God brings light over darkness, strength over weakness, joy over sadness, and glory to God through the art of dance.

    The purpose of Rogers Memorial’s Drama Ministry is to evangelize God’s Word through dramatic presentations for the glory of God, to bring life to stories of the Bible, and to discover and present our congregants creative gifts of evangelism by the power of the Holy Spirit.
    The vision of the ministry is to reach people within and without the church, to demonstrate the love, hope and passion of Christ, and to communicate and convince that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that no man can come to the Father but by Jesus Christ our Lord.

    The primary function for the Multimedia Ministry is to have an understanding of the church’s technology capabilities and to be the sounding board for any new and/or updated technology recommendations. The Staff Technology Specialist will enlist this ministry’s support to stay abreast with the new developments in Communications, Data Processing, and Audio/Video, Print Production and other critical technology.

  • Members of the Ushers Ministry greet and seat worshipers; lift the tithes and offering and other related duties. Ushers are actively involved in the Knoxville District Baptist Association, TNBM & E State Convention, and the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. In addition, Ushers are involved in various mission projects per quarter and monthly training.

  • The Greeters / Welcome Ministry is a ministry in helping and giving. Our mission is to greet members, visitors and help them feel welcome in our Fathers House. In most cases we are the first faces most will see. We work with a passion to assist with directions throughout the Sanctuary, Spiritual Class Schedules and serve as a partnership with the Ushers Ministry. We are always looking for those that have a desire to serve with a smile and to have others feel warmth that our ministry offers.
